Visual Inferential Elements in EFL Learning in Mbujimayi

The paper focuses on some inferential elements in EFL learning Mbujimayi. More specifically, the study points out differences occurring English sound production of /t/, /dʒ/, /ʒ/, /ð/, /v/, and /θ/ by Ciluba speaking learners. After discussing findings obtained from observation questionnaire, it has been discovered that learners’ prior linguistic knowledge justifies errors they make this regard, patterns target language being unfamiliar to them. To remedy issue, we suggest three things: (1) attention, implying teacher should work learners recognize words so can be aware them as useful items. (2) Retrieval, standing for process indicating a word may noticed understood textual input task. (3) Generation, which implies requiring use wanted item new contexts.
